I think I just have a problem with not having some sort of gradient on larger areas (her thighs for instance). Looking at it now (after not seeing it at its full nearly 3500 pixel wide format for a while) I'm happier with it. I like how the violet tint worked for the shade, and I like the shade in general. I think it's the highlights that are tweaking me though damned if I can figure out why. :/
I admire people that can do nice cell shading but I can't seem to like my own attempts, though I got a lot closer with this one. Meh, probably one of the facets of my art inferiority complex. *wry grin*
I really like my line art on this one though. :) And I think her tummy and breasts came out really nice (and the braid and her face and her legs... I am perfectly capable of fangirling myself on this one. :)
