Merry Christmas

tephraAs part of my Christmas doings today, I redressed my dolls. I was just going to redress Rico, into clothing she would not like much I admit, but while I had her down and headless I swapped her neck S-hook for Anjeni's (and tried Namid's on her, it's too large for her head). Then, since I had them all down and headless, they all got changed for the holiday.
Rico is very unhappy with me, dressing her girly. I'll probably change her tomorrow.
This was very instructive for me though. While she can borrow Namid's shoes, socks, and skirts, the tops are likely restricted to things that are big on Namid. This sweater is knit to fit Namid precisely and it is tight on Rico, especially through the shoulders. It's also very obviously short.
Tomorrow I will try pants. I'm expecting they'll fit okay in the seat, Namid has much more booty while Rico has more hi,p but the measurements are the same. The question is whether the thighs will fit and, of course, the leg length.
As a gesture of solidarity, Anjeni consented to dress up and wear her heels so Rico would have company. The halter dress is both short and backless so she swiped the shawl from her mom.
I have new hands and feet on order for Anjeni. They've redesigned the ball portions to have a centered pivot, which should make posing her wrists and ankles easier. Hopefully she's not too faded/yellow/different color mix for the current normal skin resin. I may see about modding her current hands and feet once the new ones are in. The hands I would try making a new pivot at least, and maybe reposition her fingers as well. The feet I would try bending her toes up into pseudo heel feet, and probably move the pivot.
Namid thinks the other two are just silly to be upset about dressing up a bit. She's put in a request for a larger black shawl, and a refreshment of the dye on this one.
I also have heel feet on order for Namid. Again, I hope the resin match is good between her 2009 resin and the current light tan. At the moment she doesn't have any shoes that require the heel feet but I think having them would expand my options for nice shoes for her.

Finally, a bit of silliness that has managed to put another doll on my wishlist, or at least recolor one that is on there already.
It's a pity it was so late that I had to use flash, but trust me, the red hair and the light tan resin? Gorgeous together. And her pretty eyes don't hurt either. I want to get a girlfriend for Anjeni eventually, and I had planned for a redhead in normal resin for her, but maybe now I'll change that to light tan....
