I must be nuts

I'm contemplating NaNoWriMo.

I blame askerian for this.

We'll see if my setting and vague cultural ideas gel into something workable in this last week before it starts. I bounced my basic ideas off the resident author to try to shake things into shape. He may not think so, but after the Flanker's Tale pentalogy (quintology?) I think hafoc has a pretty good idea of what it takes to write a novel. ;)

With any luck I won't write myself into anything I can't write myself out of before the end of November.

Cottage Cheese Bread

2 oz warm milk
2 Tbsp honey
2 Tbsp butter
1 egg
¹/₂ cup cottage cheese
1 Tbsp sour cream
¹/₂ tsp sugar
1¹/₂ tsp salt
2³/₄ cup flour
¹/₄ cup whole wheat flour
1¹/₂ tsp dry active yeast

You need to watch this one while it's mixing since the cottage cheese is variable in moisture content. I had to add water to get the dough to come together today (largely because we favor a very dry and slightly sharp variety of cottage cheese in this household.) I also subbed in milk for the sour cream (since I used the last of it for the chocolate bread) and with the dry cheese I figure the liquid property is most important.
