Jul. 2nd, 2004 12:51 amI just put up a glorified doodle on my site. Actually, it's an old piece of still life art redone with screentones.
It was an interesting exercise since I seem to be constitutionally incapable of not blending my shading and highlights. Since I was aiming to recreate the real screen tone effect I couldn't blur or soften anything. Maybe I'll continue playing around like this, it might get me to the point where I can do 'real' cel coloring and not something that might be possibly be called soft cel.
