Shit hit the fan

tephraAnd I'm not going to continue to update here on the situation. It's getting too messy. Mom is fine though, it's certain segments of the medical profession that are creating the problem now.
Unfortunately the situation is compounded with the family trait of being the sort to dig in and be obstinate when being told "you will do this". None of us take that well, not me, not Mom, not Dad, and especially not my brother. I know it's definitely the wrong approach for the situation and grit my teeth (and have the painful jaw from the nightly teeth grinding for it effort) but since I live so far away and am out of the local loop there's not much I can do other than that.
And in a spectacular case of cosmic bad timing, Mom's primary care physician is on vacation until Monday.
