Guess the music meme

Step 1: Put your MP3 player or whatever on random.
Step 2: Post the first line from the first 25 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Step 4: Strike out the songs when someone guesses correctly.
Step 5: No cheating.

I'm obviously going to skip things with no lyrics if they come up. (Wow, I have a lot of those!)

And if any come up with languages I don't speak, and I can't find the lyrics online, I'm going to skip those too. (I think you guys got lucky that so many of these are in English, German and Japanese were almost as likely.) Any errors in the non-English lyrics are the fault of the people putting the lyrics online, I don't know what they say (which is a bit unsettling when I think about it, they might be pretty crude for all I know).

I would have been dismayed if no one got that one. :D

Somehow I doubt the Japanese and German ones will get guessed (or the Danish one, had I been able to find lyrics for it).

Gah... is #1 from Cowboy Bebop/Yoko Kanno? I can't think of the title though... right now... >_< I'm going to have to hum it until I get to the refrain... (Which is hard to do while hubby is blasting Weird Al) *mrfle grumble* It's not one of my favorite songs... so not part of my regular playlist.

And #22 Shouldn't that be "Ray's cafe"? ;) I 99.9% sure it's "Don't Bother None" from Cowboy Bebop/Yoko Kanno.

And #2... Is it "If I should fall from grace with god" by The Pogues? It's been a long time since I've listened to that album, so I don't remember the lyrics well...

And I thought it was nice you put the Japanese lyrics in romanji. :)

#1 is from Bebop :)

#22 probably should be Ray, sounded like Ray to me, the lyrics site I copy-pasted from had Roy. I is lazy. Mai Yamane, it gets a LOT of play here.

#23 is not the Pogues, the band is fringe enough I'll be surprised if anyone gets it.
