The Shadows on My Wall Don't Sleep

I wrote a 100 word drabble for des_butterfly over on pornandkittens and I wanted to have some more personal archive than a random comment in a LJ community... but posting porny writing here is making me twitchy*. This is probably because I actually talk to some of you face to face on a regular basis. ;)

So, as a compromise, I put it on my JournalFen journal (which I was given for supplying someone with a link to rare pairing porn *laughs*).

The original concept was around 400 words in a half fleshed out state and the goal was just 100 words so the language is... artsy. I had to cut a lot of scene setting, and I think it was much more sexy before the editing chainsaw hit it. If the idea sticks with me I may write the scenario out in however many words it needs.

Yes, I am apologizing for my writing. I don't have a lot of confidence in the quality normally and the level of language twisting I had to do for this makes me even less confident.

*Yes, I know that I have posted nude art here before, and probably will again. But I haven't posted porn, just some highly suggestive art with an all male demon threesome.... yeah, a bit of a dichotomy I know.

I'm co-maintaining a new community with toshirodragon and I thought it might be a good idea to let people know. :)

paintedshoji is an anime and manga focused desktop wallpaper community. Any genre goes, shounen, shoujo, yaoi/shounen-ai, yuri/shoujo-ai, whatever. Fanart based wallpapers are accepted so long as the poster is the artist. Because my co-maintainer and I are coming at this from the yaoi/yuri angle the community is friends locked and adults only.

On an unrelated note, I've mixed opinions on this song. The lyrics bother me. Which is pretty weird considering that the lyrics to Disturbed's The Game and Meaning of Life don't (though MoL did at first). Maybe it's because he's so... uninvolved, with the lyrics. There's emotion (rage and lust) in the Disturbed tracks but this one, it's so matter of fact; cold, casual and callous.

But it's got that cool vocal layering thing that Vast does. I really like cool vocal layering effects.
