1. Copy and paste your LJ Friends List into an update and leave behind an LJ Cut.
2. • If you've met them in person or otherwise know them from the offline world, bold their screenname.
   • If you've only talked to them on the phone, italicize their name.
   • If you've only talked to them online, leave their name alone.
   • If you have someone on your Friends List who has multiple LJ's, only use one and get rid of the rest from the list.
3. Post and let other people copy the meme.

I feel I should point out that I just met ursulav at Anthrocon, I'm not sure I could even spot her in a crowd yet. Likewise, I was introduced to dark_natasha several years ago (by chrissawyer, who made me all blushy by telling her she should check out my art) but we haven't really talked since.

I may be weird but bolding some of those names feels a bit like name dropping.
