Knitting and stuff

I spent several hours last night knitting and my hands aren't letting me forget it. :P I have 9 rounds of a Moebius scarf (of the type actually knitted in the moebius shape) completed though, just 16 more to go....

And since this has been turning into "what knitting obsession has Tephie discovered today" lately I gave in and actually posted something to a community I created and put "on hold" a while ago. If you do any sort of crafty hobby I'd love to see you over at internet_fridge. I just summarized my knitting pattern and resource links over there. If I happen to get to any of my other crafty hobbies (sewing is fighting hard for the next round) I'll be posting them there too.

I made internet_fridge hoping that I might be able to shop it around enough to collect a bunch of people with different crafty hobbies so that if one of us was left with an unfocused need to make something we could browse the community and find something new and interesting to do. There are a lot of crafting communities on LJ so I know it's an uphill battle to get members, but I'm hoping the fact that any crafty hobby is welcome and that sales/auction posts are banned will make it attractive to people. The sticking point is my lack of hyperactive crafting and craftposting to get the ball rolling. :P
