While I have seven new pieces of my art to ink and color from Anthrocon (and shortly after) this is not one of them. This is a sketch that jirris_midvale did in my sketchbook at Further Confusion.

Those that have been reading this journal are aware that this is my test image for a new system of inking, one where I scan the pencils, turn them into 'non-photo blue' sketches, print them and then ink them. I inked this with a Tombow brush-pen *listens for the groans from the artists* and did the color in Paint Shop Pro as usual. Unfortunately I can't open any of the saved PSP versions of this image so all I have is the web version JPEG and the 'original' inked sheet.  I really shouldn't even try coloring on this PC since this always happens.

Not bad for someone from a family that doesn't travel outside New England (and rarely outside Massachusetts and New Hampshire). It still freaks most of the family and many of the family friends that I drive a thousand miles by myself without giving it much thought.  And they completely spaz when they think about how I just hopped a plane and moved to Arizona without even having been there before, knowing no one, and having no car there waiting for me.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm really related to these people. ;>
