Choose twelve of your original characters in any particular order (NO PEEKING AT THE QUESTIONS AT THIS STAGE!). Then, answer the questions that follow.
1. Nijharrl (tigress, avatar of a goddess)
2. Nightshade (assassin, and not a Drow, dammit!)
3. Sabkha (anthro unicorn/gryphon thing)
4. Lydia Morgan (witch)
5. Zakiri (demon)
6. Damiane (vampire)
7. Kerwyn (forest spirit)
8. Katje (fire elemental)
9. Kirana (fossa, shaman)
10. Shayda (black leopard, demi-god)
11. Misharr (lion, war god, because a male might be a good idea in this list)
12. Jazz (puma, another male)
Who would make a better college professor: 6 (Damiane) or 11 (Misharr)?
Damiane. Gods generally don't make good professors. Though I'm not convinced that vampires do either.
Do you think 2 (Nightshade) is hot? How hot?
Lean, flexible, deadly... yeah, that's hot. Though I suspect that black skin and white hair is rather freaky in real life.
12 (Jazz) sends 8 (Katje) on a mission. Does it succeed?
Jazz doesn't even get to order his wife and son around. His grandkids have him wrapped around their little fingers.
But he's cute and sweet so if he asked Katje to do something she probably would. Better hope it's either easy or non-flamable.
What is or would be 9 (Kirana)'s favorite book?
This really huge hand-bound book that is a combination clan history, grimoire, and practical guide to using all the bits of your prey, no matter how odd.
Would it make more sense for 2 (Nightshade) to swear fealty to 6 (Damiane), or the other way around?
Nightshade has sort of sworn fealty to Damiane actually. Kinda. Though it might be the other way around. As long as they stay lovers it doesn't really matter which.
For some reason, 5 (Zakiri) is looking for a roommate. Should he share a studio with 9 (Kirana) or with 10 (Shayda)?
Er.... Well. I can't really see Zakiri tolerating Shayda's perpetual cheerfulness that well but I don't think it would really be a deal breaker either. On the other hand, Kirana's not much for rooming with anyone. I suppose Zakiri had better get used to having a chipper leopard around.
2 (Nightshade), 7 (Kerwyn), and 12 (Jazz) are having dinner together. Where do they go, and what would they discuss?
A local restaurant that has thick, hearty stews with lots of spices (not necessarily hot, though Nightshade's entree probably is); warm, crusty bread; and good beer (the ladies) and sweet tea (Jazz.)
Conversation is probably lively between Ni and Kerwyn, they're both pretty old and not entirely mortal. Jazz is probably wondering what god he managed to offend and how he can get back in their good graces. He's also wishing his wife was there since Nakyta is much better at being social than he is.
3 (Sabkha) challenges 10 (Shayda) to a duel. What happens?
Shayda chooses jello shots for the weapon and they get roaring drunk. And giggly.
If 1 (Nijharrl) stole 8 (Katje)'s most precious possession, how would she get it back?
Nijh doesn't steal.
Suggest a title for a story in which 7 (Kerwyn) and 12 (Jazz) both attain what they most desire.
"Not Quite Walden"
What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted 4 (Lydia) and 1 (Nijharrl) to work together?
First I would need a portal to get the two into the same world. A magical screw up or a pissed off god would do that. If they end up in a world that neither of them is familiar with, and their magic doesn't behave normally there, they could be forced to work together.
If 7 (Kerwyn) visited you for the weekend, how would you get along?
Pretty well so long as the weather was nice and we could spend time outside. Kerwyn isn't much for staying indoors if she doesn't have to.
If you could command 3 (Sabkha) to perform any one task or service for you, what would it be?
... I have no idea. Wait! I got it! Help me make a dress form for myself. :)
Does anyone on your friends list write or draw 11 (Misharr)?
Up until now I don't think anyone knew about him. Well maybe
hafoc did.
If 2 (Nightshade) had to choose sides between 4 (Lydia) and 5 (Zakiri), which would it be?
Which ever side made her own goals easier to obtain. Odds are that would be Zakiri, but it's really a toss up since Lydia would have a hard time with that old "are you a good witch, or a bad witch?" question.
What might 10 (Shayda) shout while charging into battle?
Charging into battle? Shayda? She's more the "make the trees crash down, make the grass rise up as swords" sort of fighter.
If you chose a song to represent 8 (Katje), which song would you choose?
Paulina Rubio - "Fire"
1 (Nijharrl), 6 (Damiane), and 12 (Jazz) are having dim sum at a Chinese restaurant. There is only one scallion pancake left, and they all reach for it at the same time. Who gets to eat it?
Nijharrl. Jazz would defer to the ladies and Damiane doesn't really care much for solid food (though she can, and does, eat it from time to time to be social.)
What might be a good pick-up line for 2 (Nightshade) to use on 10 (Shayda)?
*ow* I'm not sure there exists such a thing. And everything I can think of is so cheesy there's no way Ni would say them.
What would 5 (Zakiri) most likely be arrested for?
Reckless endangerment for the way she drives... if they could catch her.
What is 6 (Damiane)'s secret?
Beyond the whole being a vampire thing? She killed the vampire that created her, for screwing someone else.
If 11 (Misharr) and 9 (Kirana) were racing to a destination, who would get there first?
Misharr, he's a god after all.
If you had to walk home through a bad neighborhood at night, would you feel safer in the company of 7 (Kerwyn) or 8 (Katje)?
Well if it's a bad neighborhood it's probably fairly urban so that puts Kerwyn at a disadvantage. Katje would be a better escort, even if she is likely to set things on fire if she gets startled.
1 (Nijharrl) and 9 (Kirana) reluctantly team up to save the world from the threat posed by 4 (Lydia)'s sinister secret organization. 11 (Misharr) volunteers to help them, but it is later discovered that he is actually a spy for 4. Meanwhile, 4 has kidnapped 12 (Jazz) in an attempt to force their surrender. Following the wise advice of 5 (Zakiri), they seek out 3 (Sabkha), who gives them what they need to complete their quest. What title would you give this fic?
"Of Gods, Magic, and Fur"
That would be a very, very bad story. And by now everyone should know I'm really bad with titles.
