In theory it's supposed to be a complimentary flavor that enhances the chocolate. Personally when I want chocolate I want chocolate, not a mocha, so despite recommendations to add coffee for decades I still haven't done it.
Now after several delays, and with a very cooled cak,e I'm off to play with that frosting. :)
