Birthday Squee!

[livejournal.com profile] hafoc got me a really cool MP3 player for my birthday. :) It's a Creative Zen Nano with one gig of storage! While it doesn't get the geeky points for OGG playback like [livejournal.com profile] athelind's it does get geeky points for being able to encode MP3s from CD players via a line out/line in set up. While I doubt I'd use this feature at home where I can just rip things on my PC, it will be handy if I ever encounter someone with a cool song on CD when I'm traveling.

It also has an FM radio, but anyone that has noticed my radio habits knows that I don't actually listen to radio much. But I can if I get bored with an entire gigabyte of MP3s!
